Direct Urgent Care offers care for many urgent medical problems. Our doctors and nurses can provide the following treatments from the comfort of our clinic:
- Pediatrics – We treat all children of any age. We provide no childhood vaccinations. We treat Pink Eye, Ear infections, Throat infections, Upper Respiratory Tract infections, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Constipation, Abdominal pain, vomiting, Hand Foot Mouth Disease.
- Adult Medicine – Upper Respiratory Tract Infections, Sinus infection, Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Urinary Tract Infections, Pink Eye, Ear Infections, COPD/Emphysema/Chronic Bronchitis in Smokers, Chest Pain, Common Skin Rashes, Allergic Reactions, Asthma
- Pregnant Females – We treat common illnesses that may occur in pregnancy like Urinary Tract Infections, Throat Infections, Upper Respiratory Tract Infections. We have an ultrasound machine to check for fetal heart activity and fetal movement for reassurance purposes only. We do not do a formal fetal ultrasound.
- Foreign Body Removal from the Skin, Eyes, and Ears – Our clinicians will remove simple foreign objects that have been inserted into your body.
- Ingrown Toenail Removal – Our doctor will remove painful ingrown toenails.
- Simple Burn Care – We provide first-aid and wound care for minor burns.
- Sports Physicals – We DO NOT provide sports physicals.
- DOT Physicals – We DO NOT provide DOT physicals.
- Car Accident Injuries – We DO NOT treat injuries related to car accidents.
- Workman’s Compensation Injuries – We DO NOT treat any injury that happened at work.
- Physicals for Foreign Travel – We DO NOT do any physical exams in preparation for foreign travel.
- Family Medicine – We cannot be your family doctor but we will treat you until you can get an appointment with your family doctor.
- X-Rays – We have an x-ray machine to rule out a broken bone and to diagnose pneumonia or other lung diseases. We CANNOT do an x-ray ordered by another doctor. We only do x-rays ordered by our doctor
- Nurse Practitioners – Only doctors work at our clinic. You will never see a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant.
- Migraine Headache – We treat migraine headaches with a shot of Toradol (ketorolac).
- Ultrasound Machine – We have an ultrasound machine to check for fetal heart activity and fetal movements for reassurance purposes only. We can check your urinary bladder for signs of bladder obstruction.
- Foley Catheters – We can change or remove your foley catheter.
- Nose Bleeding – We can place an inflatable nose balloon to stop massive nose bleeding as a temporary measure until you can see an ENT doctor.
Please note that we are unable to conduct health screenings currently. It’s recommended that you contact your primary care physician to schedule routine checkups and bloodwork.
